This beautiful south-facing chalet for eight people is just 2.5km from the centre of La Clusaz, a traditional Alpine village with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. There's also a weekly market where you can pick up local cheeses and charcuterie.
Set in a quiet residential area, Chalet Alpachic has wonderful views of the Aravis mountains, and great access to the Balme and Confins ski area. In the summer, these are wonderful places for walking, biking and a range of family activities. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing.

About the property
Chalet Alpachic is a traditionally-built wooden chalet for eight people. Its south-facing position makes the most of the sunny side of the valley, and the stunning views of the Aravis mountains - enjoy them from the hot tub, or from a sunbed on the lovely large terrace.
Accommodation is set over three floors. There's a double garage at street level, with a ski store and heated boot rack, as well as access to the laundry and the gym - keep yourself in trim with the exercise bike, treadmill or rowing machine.
The main living area is on the next floor An L-shaped open plan area has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a cosy seating area with a large corner sofa in front of an open fire. Curl up and catch up on your day, or perhaps enjoy a bit of star-gazing from the terrace. There's a cosy seating area with blankets for the winter, sunbeds for the summer, and room to eat outside if the weather allows. Summer or winter, the hot tub is always a favourite place for a relaxing evening.
There's a double bedroom on this floor, with an en suite shower room, and a separate toilet. Three more bedrooms are upstairs - a double and a twin, which share a bathroom and separate toilet, and a double room with an en suite shower room - check out the incredible views from the glass ceiling! All the bedrooms are restfully decorated in neutral shades, with crisp white bed linen and throws for a restful and cosy night. Fluffy towels are provided in the elegant bathrooms.
About the area
La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

“Wonderful Stay with Minor Improvements”
A beautiful chalet with stunning views. We had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Alpachic and would definitely stay again. However, a car is necessary as transportation is limited at this time of year. I have two suggestions for the property manager: provide more than two toilet rolls for a weekend for seven people, and ensure the hand wash pumps in the bathrooms contain hand soap.

Very comfortable chalet, just as described. The terrace and the loggia are truly enjoyable. A few beer glasses are missing, as well as some board games and informational material about the region (maps, books, etc.), although the OVO Network blog already provides quite a bit of information.

We come back every year for a week of hiking and cycling. Comfortable and well-equipped chalet, peaceful location, very beautiful view! The jacuzzi on the terrace with a view of the mountains is great.

The OVO Network Review
Chalet Alpachic is a spacious three-storey chalet for eight, in a quiet location just outside the busy, traditional village of La Clusaz, where you'll find a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops.
You'll need to drive or take the bus into the village in the winter, but the location on the sunny side of the valley means you get to enjoy wonderful views of the mountains. You're close to the Balme and Confins area - great skiing in the winter and walking in the summer.
If you're there in April, don't miss the Défi Foly - on the last weekend of the ski season, daring skiers take it in turns to hurtle down the hillside and compete to get as far across the thawing lake as they can. If you don't fancy taking part it's a great spectator sport!
In the summer, the Confins area is great for families - there are walks around the lake, horse-riding, tennis and much more. It's also a lovely walk into La Clusaz from here.
Chalet Alpachic is well placed to make the most of this area, and at the end of the day there are plenty of ways to relax - the cosy sofas around the fire, the hot tub, the sunny terrace or, if you've still got energy to burn, the gym. The neutral decor makes it an easy place to chill out.
Whether you are visiting with family or friends, the flexible accommodation can be arranged just as you like it - all you've got to do is enjoy yourselves!

When we found Chalet Alpachic, in a sunny south-facing position overlooking the majestic Aravis mountains, we knew this property ticked all our boxes.
We carried out a programme of renovation and improvement, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Huge windows mean the chalet is filled with light, a big soft sofa is arranged in front of the fire, and the kitchen and dining areas are perfect for sociable meals.
The "mountain chic" decor provides the finishing touches.
We installed a six-person hot tub with automatic water filtration on the terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the impressive Aravis mountains. The terrace is like an outside living room, with cosy sofas, a dining table and sunbeds so that you can enjoy the outside space all year round.
Downstairs you will find the gym, equipped with an exercise bike, a rowing machine and a treadmill - everything you need to maintain or get into shape.
Everything has been designed to ensure you love the "chalet life", and have an unforgettable holiday.
